Frequently asked questions
Is the feedback visible for everyone?
No. By default, the Admin, Manager and HR roles can view, add and edit feedback. Employees see feedback about themselves once it is shared with them, and the Share with employee option is off by default on every new entry.
Does Growee share data with third-party systems?
Yes, when you use AI features. When you record voice feedback, Growee sends the audio to the OpenAI speech-to-text API and adds the returned text to the feedback notes. If you use Ask AI on feedback, the reply is generated by the Anthropic API. Files you attach to that chat are first sent to an external text-extraction service, and when that service returns no text, Growee extracts the text itself and sends it to OpenAI. Both providers are listed as subprocessors on our Trust page and contractually commit not to train models on API data.
How does Growee ensure data security?
Growee runs on AWS in the European Union. All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS and data is encrypted at rest. Role-based access control with granular permissions decides who can open feedback, and each company's data is isolated on its own subdomain.
