Construction HR software for crews and contractors
The office side of a construction business: hours logged against the job, leave requests and balances, and safety cards and medical certificates stored as documents with expiration dates.

Where Growee fits, and where it does not
Growee is general HR software, not a construction system. No payroll, and no certified payroll reports for Davis-Bacon work, where contractors file weekly for the life of the contract. No GPS field clock either. Arcoro and hh2 cover those (as of August 2026). Growee holds the office record: project timesheets, leave, documents with expiration dates, and e-signature.
Three things this actually replaces
Usually a shared spreadsheet, a folder of scanned cards, and a foreman's text messages.
Crew hours land against the job they were worked on
A timesheet week is one row per project. A carpenter who works two jobs in a week enters two rows, not one lump of 40 hours. Foremen approve.
- One row per project or task, hours per day
- Reports by week, month, quarter or year, and by project, task or team
- Project budgets read the same logged hours
Leave and holiday requests stop living in the foreman's phone
Requests go in with dates and type, the requester sees the days left after this one, and the answer stays on the record. Public holidays for 99 countries come from the dataset behind our national holidays pages: check United States, Canada or England for 2026.
- Request, approve, reject or cancel, with every state in one list
- Balances by year and leave type
- A planner with national holidays, weekends and personal leave, and presence sheets from the same records
Certificates sit on the worker, with an expiration date and a signature
A construction employee record is mostly documents that go stale: the OSHA card, the medical certificate, the equipment ticket, the contract. Each was issued to a different worker on a different date. In Growee each is a document type you define, filed on the worker with an expiration date.
- Document types you define, with tags and filters to pull a whole crew
- Expiration alerts by email before the date passes
- E-signature by link, no account for the signer, and the signed file stays on the record with a fingerprint tied to its contents
E-signature is on the paid plan; documents and expiration alerts are not. See document management →
Growee vs Arcoro vs hh2
Arcoro and hh2 are construction specialists and we are not. Both beat Growee on payroll and field time capture, and neither publishes a price (as of August 2026).
Arcoro cells reflect arcoro.com/industries/construction/ and arcoro.com/pricing; hh2 cells reflect hh2.com and hh2.com/construction-time-tracking-software, all read 19 August 2026. "Not stated" means those pages say nothing either way. Growee figures are our published plans.

What is the best HR software for construction companies?
If the pain is in the field (GPS time capture at the jobsite, certified payroll, hours flowing into your accounting system), buy a specialist like Arcoro or hh2. If the pain is office paperwork, that is what Growee covers, at €2 per person per month.
Can Growee track OSHA cards and other certificates that expire?
Yes. Define the document types your paperwork uses, upload the file to the worker, and set an expiration date. Growee sends an email reminder before the date passes, and the list filters by type, employee, tag or expiration date.
How much does HR software for construction cost?
Arcoro and hh2 publish no figures; both route you to a demo or a custom proposal (as of August 2026). Growee is free for up to 3 people, then €2 per person per month, or €20 per person per year, which covers timesheets, leave, documents, projects and e-signature.
